NCPI+ (National Coalition of People living with HIV in India)
NCPI + is a national body of People Living with HIV (PLHIV), affected individuals and organisations with the vast range of experience and expertise from grass root to policy level. NCPI+ is based on the principle that, this long experience and expertise must contribute constructively and meaningfully in the policy and programme decisions to bring positive change in country. NCPI+ works with the aim to increase active, transparent and constructive participation of PLHIV and health activist to strengthen care, support and treatment response of the country and improve the quality of life of individuals and families to control HIV.
Care and Support Centre 2.0 Program (2024-2027)
About Care and Support Centre (2.0): The national program proposes transforming the current CSC to improve care and support services for priority PLHIV subgroups, as well as incorporating the EVTHS care cascade in accordance with NACO’s revised strategy for meeting the second and third 95 UNAIDS fast-track targets. To strengthen care and support services, the project will work with both public and private ART centres to provide tailored care to the following priority PLHIV subgroups (including but not limited to): (a) Newly identified PLHIV initiated on ART; (b) ICTC linkage loss cases; (c)PLHIV Missed ART Treatment and are Lost to Follow up cases; (d) PLHIV with more than 1000 copies/mL viral load and less than 200 cells/mm3 CD4 count;(e) PLHIV newly initiated on second-line or third-line ART;(f) Co-infected individuals (NCD); (g) HIV+ Pregnant and Lactating Women; (h) HIV Exposed Infants (HEI); (i) Discordant couples and index cases; (j) HIV+ high-risk groups and incarcerated population; (k)Co-infected individuals (TB).
Prison Intervention Program (2024-2027)
About the Prison Intervention: To reduce new infections among incarcerated populations, the project will employ a variety of approaches for comprehensive prevention education on sexual health, HIV, TB, STI, syphilis, and Viral hepatitis (VH), their routes of transmission, harm reduction and other prevention methods, and mental health issues. These strategies will be tailored to specific population groups, with an emphasis on early screening and treatment initiation.
The interventions will use different strategies for disease prevention and screening based on (i) inmate load, (ii) HIV positivity rates, and (iii) the availability of functional testing facilities and health care providers inside those prisons and other closed settings (P&OCS). The project will provide the comprehensive services in accordance with international (UNODC, WHO) and national (HIV/AIDS Act of 2017, Technical Guidelines) protocols to protect the rights and improve health access of incarcerated populations.
NCPI+ seeks candidate under CSC 2.0 and Prison Intervention program for below mentioned position:
1.Administration and Logistic Officer (ALO – CSC 2.0 and Prison Intervention)
(1 position to be based in Chandigarh for Punjab state and Haryana state)
The Administration and Logistics Officer (ALO) will report to the SPM-CSC. The ALO will be responsible for the following:
1. Support the SPM-CSC in oversight of the CSC 2.0 component
2. Ensure timely recruitment of the SR team
3. Ensuring the timely selection and on-boarding of the SSRs
4. Ensure timely recruitment of the SSR staff
5. Management of day-to-day administrative, logistics, and training / meeting-related support for the respective SR and report to the finance officer.
6. Dealing with different suppliers, vendors and service providers, security and housekeeping services
7. Provide logistics support for various trainings, meetings, and travel undertaken by core team members, field-based staff, and other stakeholders.
8. Safekeeping and proper filing of all finance HR and admin-related documents
9. Support in the procurements of goods and services (including assets, equipment, office stationery, and utility items) and ensure adherence to the organizational and donor policies
10. Assets and inventory management (including maintenance of asset and inventory registers, up-keep and maintenance of all assets and equipment, and timely purchase of asset insurance)
11. Support the M&E cum Accountant of SSR team for finance reports and audits.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL-SET
1. The candidate should have at least three years of experience in the relevant field. Experienced and knowledgeable candidates from the community (PLHIV/KP) are eligible to apply and will be considered.
2. B. Com. or equivalent qualification with experience in finance and accounts
3. Expert proficiency in Tally and MS Office
4. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
5. Self-learner
6. Able to work with a team with diversity
7. Good documentation skills
8. Able to work in strict timelines and extend working hours based on requirements
9. Efficiency in solving problems
10. Proficiency in English and local language
