National Coalition of People Living With HIV is India (NCPI +) is a national network of People Living with HIV (PLHIV), affected individuals and organisations with the vast range of experience and expertise from grass root to policy level. NCPI+ is based on the principle that, this long experience and expertise must contribute constructively and meaningfully in the policy and programme decisions to bring positive change in country. NCPI+ works with the aim to increase active, transparent and constructive participation of PLHIV and health activist to strengthen care, support and treatment response of the country and improve the quality of life of individuals and families to control HIV.

Inviting application for the post of

Account & Admin officer (one post) based from Guwahati and responsible for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura for Global Fund Project “AHANA”

Account and Administration Officer (AAO) : Key Responsibilities

  1. The Accounts and Admin Officer (AAO) will be specifically responsible the monitoring and financial management of funding and timely disbursement of salary and field expenses.
  2. AAO will work with the Programme Team to design budgets and reporting forms that reflect programmatic goals and also ensure grant funds are effectively utilised against programme deliverables.
  3. AAO will maintain clear understanding of donor and local legislation regulations.
  4. AAO is overall responsible for maintaining the books of accounts for the project in State/s and manage day today transactions.
  5. AAO will maintain daily records of cash receipts and disbursements including preparation of receipt payments and general journal vouchers
  6. AAO will ensure recording of all transactions in computer based accounting system in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and ensure proper documentation of all transactions; and maintain files of all supporting documentation for accounting entries.
  7. AAO will ensure all the bills of specific parties related to travel, hotel bookings, conferences etc are reviewed and process for payment in time.
  8. AAO will ensure all the reconciliations are made on monthly basis and follow-up are done accordingly
  9. AAO will update the Fixed Assets Register timely

10.AAO will prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly, Financial/Accounts reports in the approved manner and suggest corrective actions in case of variances

11.AAO will ensure timely submission of financial statement to PR.

12.AAO will ensure timely submission of Tax report to PR.

13.AAO will ensure timely deduction of various taxes and timely deposit with the Government authorities

14.AAO will ensure the systematic maintenance and storage of records and review of vouchers

15.AAO is responsible for office management and supply.

16.AAO will support for procurement of project.

17.AAO will provide need based support to partner staff in terms of training on financial management systems and strengthen/develop the policies and procedures for ensuring proper budgetary control, accounting, funds and assets management

18.AAO will coordinate with Statutory Auditors & internal auditors for timely audit and facilitates them in audit processes.

19.AAO will report to Project Manager-SR

 

Remuneration: 4.2 lakh per annum

Basic Requirements:

  • Graduation degree in Commerce and Financial accounting with Tally & Computer knowledge (at least 6 months CCA) with a minimum of 3-4 years of work experience and should have Administrative knowledge. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & Hindi .

 

 

NOTES:

1) The candidate living with HIV and affected by HIV/AIDS would be given the preference if S/he will fulfil the criteria as per JD for specific position.

2) The candidate for each position should be familiar with one of the regional languages of North east.
